Rio allows for a range of different currencies to be entered as part of your data. This article explains how these currencies are converted and used in your reports.
When uploading your data you will have the ability to include financial/cost data. Rio is able to accept financial data in a range of currencies. In the upload templates you will have the ability to define the currency used by entering the standard (ISO 4217) three character currency codes.
Once your data has been uploaded Rio will retain the financial data in the currency format in which it was originally uploaded. Where no currency code has been entered Rio will assume that the currency used was GBP (£).
For standardised reporting within the dashboards Rio converts any financial data into GBP on a daily basis. Currency conversions are completed using a third party plug-in tool (https://fixer.io/documentation). This tool converts any financial transaction into GBP based on the date of the transaction.
