Data overwriting is a tool to overwrite data already in the Rio platform. This can be used to correct any historical errors in the data uploaded or to replace any duplicates within the platform.
What are the acceptance criteria for data overwriting?
The acceptance criteria vary dependent on the utility. Below is a list of acceptance criteria that Rio will use to identify a duplicate in the data uploaded:
- Energy (Electricity, Gas, Heat & Steam) – Start Date, End Date, Meter
- Waste – Waste Out Location, Waste In Location, Waste Carrier, Waste Contractor, Container Type, Waste Stream, Individual Collection Date
- Water – Start Date, End Date, Meter
- Materials – Material, Origin, Date, Location
- Refrigerants – Date, Gas, Location
To note, this feature is restricted to users with the access level of Business Admin.
