What can a Rio Champion do in the Rio platform?
Organisations can configure new users based on specified access types dependent on the user's role and responsibility for viewing, uploading, or managing data and configured information in the Rio platform.
A Rio Champion is a user who needs full access to the data, reporting, and configuration areas of the Rio platform.
Rio Champions in Rio can:
- Manage configuration (Such as create and edit locations, configure new meters, create new waste contractors and carries, update tags, add/remove users, etc.)
- Upload data
- Roll back (or delete) data
- View transaction tables of data
- Export data from Rio's transaction tables
- Export data from Rio's reporting dashboards
- Upload and view documents
- Create Tasks
- Access Rio Learn content
Rio Champions are managed by an Account's Business Admin. If you would like to request a different user access level, please reach out to your organisation's Business Admin or Rio Consultant.
Why have Rio Champions?
For larger organisations access can be granted to the platform for users who provide and manage information on different subjects (e.g. transport or utilities) for specified locations, or tags. Allowing these users to directly upload and manage data and configuration in the platform increases the efficiency of data uploads and saves time for all parties involved.
Rio Champion access in the platform can be restricted in three ways, either by:
- Account: This allows a Rio Champion to view and upload data for all locations configured for the account in Rio.
- Tag: This allows a Rio Champion to view and upload data for locations configured under a specified tag in Rio. Rio Champions can be restricted to one or more tags.
- Location: This allows a Rio Champion to view and upload data for a specified location in Rio. Rio Champions can be restricted to one or more locations.
How to gain access:
- You will receive an email from Rio inviting you to set up an account in the platform.
- Follow the link included in the email to Rio.
- You will then be prompted to create your unique login details.
- Once complete you will be able to access the Rio platform.
